Had a good start to the week and the month today. Especially when you see money coming in. It's a sign that things are going well.

Felt really amazed that I was still able to wake up on time for work after yesterday's mad day. Helped out at Allan's Merlion competition. Woke up at 6 so that I could get to the place by 8.15am. And was helping to set up the place till midnight the day before to boot. It didn't end till half past midnight yesterday, so I was there for the entire day. This is not the first time so I expected this when I signed on. Being the video man I had to stay alert for the whole day, pretty taxing for that.

These events hold no more wonder for me. They used to be a source of intense wonder and enjoyment, something to look forward to. But after a while, when you get used to the realities of such events. They cease to hold such appeal. At the end of the day, it is just a job to be done and gotten over with. I got this feeling even before the day itself.

Anyways, thankfully it's over, though I hope I will be amongst those on the floor come the next time round. Time to experience it from the other side of things.
